I had to put this one on the list because, why not? Everyone and his mother are hunting this bottle because…the horses. It is overpriced and never available, unless you spend every day looking for it like me. I have more bottles of Blantons than any other whiskey in my collection and I am not proud of it. I love giving it as gifts and finding it for my friends who have never tried it. But after all the smoke has settled and you pour some of this bourbon, well it is actually pretty good. It is about 8 years old at 46.5% which is a great proof.

Blantons is classic bourbon, I could drink it every day and so could a lot of other folks. At the end of the day it is just whiskey like all these pours. I have found that when whiskey is shared with friends and family, it changes the whiskey. It becomes better; it may even become your favorite drink. No matter if it is a $15 bottle or a $500 pour, if you are drinking with F&F the experience is priceless. Cheers
